While 4.9 million (12% of the population)  returned to their areas of origin (AoO),  1.2 million  (3%  of the population) remained internally displaced  (IDPs),  primarily in camps and host communities. Most IDPs originated from  Nineveh (70.9%), Salahaddin (14.8%), and Anbar  (14.3%). Data was collected from eligible voters for this parliamentary election. Based on a statistical formula applied to the population size of 2,899,578 voters, with a 2% margin of error, 2,236 voters participated in the survey through online platforms and face-to-face interviews using the KoboToolbox platform.
