{"id":1112689,"date":"2025-01-27T07:14:58","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T07:14:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.soss-iraq.org\/?p=1112689"},"modified":"2025-01-27T07:14:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T07:14:58","slug":"completion-of-the-first-campaign-evaluation-for-the-networks-of-change-ii-noc2-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.soss-iraq.org\/en\/completion-of-the-first-campaign-evaluation-for-the-networks-of-change-ii-noc2-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Completion of the First Campaign Evaluation for the Networks of Change II (NoC2) Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\u00a0<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sard Organization for Society Support (SOSS) is proud to announce the successful completion of the evaluation for the &#8220;Maro, Chaki Ka&#8221; \u2013 \u201cDon\u2019t leave, fix it\u201d \u2013 campaign under <b>the Networks of Change II (NoC2) Programme.<\/b> This initiative, implemented by SPARK Organization and funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is part of a three-year programme running from April 1, 2023, to 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <b>&#8220;Maro, Chaki Ka&#8221;<\/b> campaign, implemented from <b>February to July 2024<\/b>, aimed to address pressing challenges faced by Kurdish youth aged <b>16-26<\/b>, including <b>illegal migration, unemployment, violent extremism, and limited access to vocational training opportunities. Through a combination of online and offline initiatives<\/b>, the campaign sought to inspire young people in the cities of <b>Chamchamal, Halabja, and Ranya<\/b> to remain in Kurdistan, pursue vocational opportunities, and actively contribute to local development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A team of <b>21 local youth campaigners<\/b>, supported by <b>SPARK<\/b>, played a pivotal role in disseminating key messages and fostering community engagement. Their efforts were instrumental in encouraging youth to envision a future within Kurdistan, rather than seeking opportunities elsewhere.<br \/>The evaluation, conducted by SOSS in <b>December 2024<\/b>, focused on the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Assessing the <b>effectiveness<\/b> of the campaign in reaching its target audience.,<\/li>\n<li>Measuring the <b>reach and impact <\/b> of the campaign\u2019s key messages, training programs, and vocational courses.,<\/li>\n<li>Identifying <b>areas for improvement <\/b> to enhance future initiatives under the NoC2 Programme.,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This evaluation not only highlights the achievements of the campaign but also provides valuable insights to strengthen ongoing and future efforts under the NoC2 Programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We extend our gratitude to <b>SPARK Organization<\/b>, the <b>Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/b>, and the dedicated local youth campaigners for their unwavering commitment to empowering Kurdish youth and fostering sustainable development in the
