On September 25, 2023, the Statistics Organization for Social Support (SOSS) had the honor of participating in the job fair aimed at providing employment opportunities for refugee and internally displaced youth, as well as university graduates who underwent a 10-month training program under the Jousour project.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 150 individuals took part in the )Jousour( project, which was designed to support and enhance the skills of university graduates and refugee youth in the Kurdistan Region. The project was jointly implemented by Erbil Technical University, the World Food Programme (WFP), and received financial support from the German government. Participants engaged in both theoretical and practical courses over the course of eight months, covering areas such as English language, computer skills, and workplace techniques.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOSS would like to extend its gratitude to Erbil Polytechnic University, WFP, and the German Consulate in Erbil for their support in establishing professional development centers and implementing this project.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n
