On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Dr. Delshad Shaker Botani, President of the organization, along with his accompanying staff, including Vice President and a group of experienced academicians from the Administration and Economics College at Salahaddin University, who are members of our organization (SOSS), visited Dr. Dilzar Hama Salih Qadir. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate him on his appointment as Director of the Erbil Provincial Statistics Directorate and to wish him success in his new role.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this visit, several important statistical topics were discussed, emphasizing the need for enhanced coordination between the Erbil Statistical Directorate, the Department of Statistics and Informatics, and the SOSS Organization. The discussions highlighted the potential for leveraging each other’s skills and expertise to serve the public interest better. One key focus was on increasing the participation of graduates from the Department of Statistics and Informatics in the statistical surveys conducted by the Directorate of Statistics. Another significant topic addressed was the upcoming general census in Iraq, scheduled for November this year, which will be conducted using new and modern methodologies.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that the complementary role of organizations in general, and SOSS in particular, will be reactivated in the process of carrying out government activities according to their expertise and experience, in order to achieve the identified objectives in the best possible way.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n
