There is a need for conducting a training programme with a special focus on questionnaire designing and statistical methods using a standard statistical software such as SPSS. This software is very user friendly and vastly used by academicians/researchers/students to analyze the data of research studies/Surveys/Evaluations, etc. Therefore, a training course/programme entitled “Opening A Training Course On Statistical Analysis Using SPSS V25” is being organized for professionals engaged in research and analysis in any field or any working place that deals with data.

ئامانجی سه‌ره‌كی له‌م خوله‌ پێشه‌كییه‌كه‌ بۆ چوونه‌ ناو پڕۆگرامی SPSS كه‌ زیاتر په‌یوه‌سته‌ به‌ لایه‌نی پڕاكتیكی، چۆنیه‌تی تۆماركردنی داتا و كۆد دانان بۆ پرسیاره‌ داخراو و كراوه‌كان، چۆنیه‌تی مامه‌له‌كردن له‌گه‌ل جۆری جیاواز له‌ داتا (داتای جۆری و چه‌ندی)، هه‌روه‌ها چونیه‌تی گۆڕینی داتا. به‌شداربوانی ئه‌م خوله‌ فێرده‌بن كه‌ چۆن دیزاینی داتابێیزی فۆڕمی ڕاپرسی بكه‌ن، پێداچوونه‌وه‌ی چه‌ند شێوازێكی ئاماری و تاوتوێكردنی كات و شوێنی به‌كارهێنانی هه‌ر شێوازێك له‌ شێوازه‌ ئامارییه‌كان، ئه‌و گریمانانه‌ی كه‌ هه‌ر شێوازێك به‌خۆیه‌وه‌ ده‌گرێت، چۆنیه‌تی ئاماده‌كرنی شیكردنه‌وه‌كان و لێكدانه‌وه‌یان. ئه‌م كاره‌ كۆمه‌ڵێك له‌ ڕێگا به‌كارده‌هێنێت بۆ دۆزینه‌وه‌و پێشكه‌ش كردنی داتا، جگه‌ له‌وه‌ی كه‌ پشكنین و تاقیكردنه‌وه‌ی په‌یوه‌ندییه‌ سه‌ره‌كییه‌كان ئه‌نجام ده‌دات. به‌شداربوانی ئه‌م خوله‌ تێگه‌یشتنێكی گشتی قازانج ده‌كه‌ن له‌ چۆنیه‌تی به‌كارهێنانی ئه‌م هه‌موو شێوازانه‌ و كات و ساتی به‌كارهێنانیان فێرده‌بێت، هه‌روه‌ها چۆنیه‌تی به‌كارهێنان و لێكدانه‌وه‌و پێشكه‌ش كردنی داتا به‌ دڵنییایه‌كی زۆره‌وه‌.

چی فێر ده‌بێت له‌ خولی ڕاهێنان (دەرئەنجامى خولی ڕاهێنان)

له‌ كۆتایی ئه‌م خوله‌، به‌شداربوان فێری ئه‌مانه‌ی خواره‌وه‌ ده‌بن:

  1. Meaning of Statistics, types of data, level of measurements, population and sample, sampling techniques, etc.;
  2. Designing survey questionnaire database in SPSS;
  3. SPSS Data entering environment and data coding;
  4. SPSS data processing and presenting;
  5. SPSS windows understanding such as Data editor, Viewer (Output), Pivot Table, Chart Editor, Syntax window, etc.;
  6. Analyze any type of qualitative and quantitative data using SPSS with confidence;
  7. Learning how to do daily routine works using SPSS Paste features;
  8. Capacity building of the participants to design the analysis plan for surveys, secondary data, and evaluation studies using SPSS;

The course is intended for the following categories:

  1. Anyone with limited or no statistical background deals with data or wants to deal with data;
  2. Anyone who has worked with SPSS Statistics and wants to become better versed in the basic statistical capabilities of SPSS;
  3. Anyone who wants to refresh their knowledge and data processing experience that were gained many years ago;
  4. Anyone working in Governmental, INGO, NGO or any other institutions that his/her work is related to data entering, reviewing, organizing, summarizing, presenting, analyzing, or interpreting such as economists, programme managers, data information manager, information officer, data analyst officer, Data entry officer, etc.

About the Trainer

Dr. Delshad Shaker Ismael Botani is an assistant professor of Statistics and Informatics department in Salahaddin University – Erbil and CEO of SOSS Company with more than of 22 years of experience teaching statistical subjects and conducting data analyses in national and international organizations such as UN-FAO, GFK Company, FHI360, USAID, UNICEF, etc. He is a member of national and international organizations such as ESOMAR, Kurdistan Economist Syndicate, and has one published statistical book called AMARZANI in Kurdish language.

Course Duration and Fees

There are 2 options for course duration and fees:

  1. The first option is conducting a training course on Sunday, January 13, 2018 for 3 days, 6 hours a day from 9:30 – 13:00, 14:00 – 16:30. The place of training course is SOSS office – Erbil Governorate. The course fee is 175 USD including coffee breaks, lunch, and helping to install SPSS V25. Participants could pay the course fees by cash or bank account.

  1. The second option is conducting a training course on Sunday, January 20, 2018 for 9 days, 2 hours a day, 3 times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday) from 16:00 to 18:00. The place of training course is SOSS office – Erbil Governorate. The course fee is 150 USD including coffee break and helping to install SPSS V25. Participants could pay the course fees by cash or bank account.
