Statistical Analyses – Intermediate Level Training Course
Overview
There is a growing need for professionals and researchers to strengthen their skills in advanced statistical techniques. This training program places special emphasis on ANOVA, ANCOVA, and Linear & Non-Linear Regression Analyses, which are essential tools for analyzing complex data and making informed decisions. The course is designed for participants from any field who are engaged in research, data analysis, or evaluation studies, and who wish to deepen their understanding of intermediate-level statistical analyses. Practical applications using SPSS and real-world examples will be highlighted to ensure participants gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience using standard statistical methods.
Objective
This course aims to provide researchers, academics, and university/college teachers with an application-oriented introduction to intermediate-level statistical methods, focusing on ANOVA, ANCOVA, and Linear & Non-Linear Regression Analyses. Participants will learn how to apply these techniques to real datasets, test and understand the assumptions behind each method, and interpret results with accuracy. The training emphasizes both the theoretical foundation and the practical application of these analyses using SPSS, enabling participants to confidently integrate them into research, academic publications, and higher education teaching. By the end of the course, participants will be able to choose the appropriate statistical method for their research, conduct the analysis effectively, and present their findings through clear interpretation and graphical representation.
Training Skills Acquired (Training Course Outcome)
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Understand the principles of intermediate-level statistical models and their applications in academia and research.
- Gain knowledge of ANOVA for comparing multiple groups.
- Apply ANCOVA to analyze data while controlling covariates.
- Perform Linear and Non-Linear Regression Analyses to study relationships between variables.
- Learn the assumptions of each method and how to test them.
- Interpret statistical outputs with clarity and accuracy.
- Strengthen their capacity to integrate statistical methods into academic research, higher education, and professional practice.
