Mardin Sameer Ali is an accomplished statistician, academic, and project manager with over a decade of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, socio-economic studies, and data analysis. She serves as the Projects Manager at the Sard Organization for Society Support (SOSS), where she oversees fieldwork operations, survey design, data collection, and study implementation across Iraq. Her work spans diverse sectors, including political studies, economics, social sciences, demography, medical research, and market analysis.

Since joining SOSS in 2013, Mardin has played a key role in supervising and executing large-scale surveys and research projects. She is experienced in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and she has contributed to numerous feasibility studies, monitoring and evaluation assignments, and community-based assessments that support evidence-based decision-making for NGOs, private companies, and governmental agencies.

Alongside her work at SOSS, Mardin is a Lecturer and Head of the Accounting Department at Paytakhat Technical Institute in Erbil, where she teaches statistics, computer applications, and research-related subjects. She has held academic roles since 2021, contributing to curriculum development, student supervision, and departmental leadership.

Her earlier experience includes working with IPSOS, where she gained international exposure as a researcher, conducting data cleaning, survey analysis, and field interviews across multiple sectors such as oil and gas, agriculture, and health.
