Data Collection of Feedback from Affected People in Iraq

Successfully executed project for Ground Truth Solution (GTS Organization) that requested a data collection in Iraq, using feedback surveys designed by GTS under the auspices of the Statistical Office for Social Sciences (SOSS Company). The project was conducted in September 2019.

The main purpose of the data collection was to provide GTS with 1,130 interviews conducted with internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, vulnerable Iraqis, and refugees living in 6 governorates: Anbar, Erbil, Duhok, Ninewa, Salah Al-Din, and Sulaymaniyah that are located in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Iraq federation.

GTS is an international non-governmental organization that helps people affected by crisis influence the design and implementation of humanitarian aid. They developed out of Keystone Accountability, which helps social change organizations improve their performance by harnessing feedback from the people they serve. GTS also capture the perspective of field staff and local partner organizations as a counterpoint to the views of those caught up in humanitarian crises.
