On July 25, 2023, the Statistics Organization for Society Support (SOSS) conducted an official visit to the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Kurdistan Region (DNGO). Mr. Barzan Akram Mantik, the head of the department, warmly welcomed Dr. Delshad Shaker Botani, the head of the SOSS organization, along with Mr. Mustafa Al-Jaff, the director of the Projects, and Mr. Ahmed Shawani, Executive Director of the Organization. The purpose of this visit and the ensuing expanded meeting was to foster collaboration, exchange information, and share experiences between the two parties, aiming to achieve mutual goals in supporting civil society and governmental institutions.

Due to our organization’s immense pride in the efficiency and activity displayed by the DNGO staff, and our sincere appreciation for their unwavering support to all segments of society, regardless of their locations, the head of SOSS presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to the head of the department. Moreover, certificates of thanks and appreciation were granted to the staff accompanying him. These gestures symbolize the deep gratitude and appreciation from our organization for the tremendous efforts and significant contributions they have made within a short period of service, both within the country and towards the attainment of our desired development goals.
