On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Statistics Organization for Society Support (SOSS) participated in a training on the anticorruption strategy organized for all local organizations by the Commission of Integrity in Kurdistan Region in collaboration with the UNDP and the European Union.

In attendance were the head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations (DNGO), the chairman of the Commission of Integrity, and a UNDP official. Notably, several perspectives were expressed during this workshop, and SOSS provided its perspective on this technique. Mr. Barzan Akram Mantik, the head of the DNGO, stated that local NGOs will play a key role in this approach, and for the first time discussed the department’s history, current, and future positive and negative activities.
