On Thursday, February 24, 2022, the Statistics Organization for Society Support (SOSS), represented by Dr. Dilshad Shaker Botani, head of the organization, and the certified expert trainer Mr. Mustafa Al-Jaf, relations officer from the organization visited the Council of Ministers’ Department of Media and Information in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

The SOSS’s representatives were greeted by the office of Dr. Jutyar Adil, Officials from the data branch, the government’s home page branch, the media branch, and the marketing branch at the department’s center.

Discussions were held with officials at the center of this department about how to develop government employees in terms of the quality of data and information that the KRG benefits from and relies on in planning the activities of ministries and departments in the best possible way for the welfare and development of society in the future and in long-term planning. In terms of the data analysis process, they discussed the most pressing issues and challenges faced by government employees in ministries and departments, as well as how to resolve these issues so that appropriate decisions can be made, and thus assist and support all government facilities in carrying out the tasks and duties that have been assigned to them in the data and information aspects.
